This Namibia expedition is a journey through some of the most remote and dramatic landscapes in Southern Africa. From the towering granite peaks of Spitzkoppe to the dunes of Sandwich Harbour and the vast wildlife plains of Etosha National Park, every day brings a completely different side of the country. Expect wild camping beneath enormous night skies, remote desert roads, coastal scenery, and unforgettable safari experiences. The trip blends adventure and exploration with comfortable lodge stays, creating the perfect balance between raw wilderness and relaxed travel. Designed for travellers seeking freedom, open landscapes, and authentic overland experiences, this journey captures the true spirit of Namibia.
Guests arrive into Windhoek and settle into a comfortable hotel or lodge. The evening is
relaxed, allowing time to adjust to new surroundings and meet the group over dinner.
Leaving the city behind, we drive north-west into wide open desert landscapes. The night is
spent camping beneath the dramatic granite peaks of Spitzkoppe, surrounded by silence,
stars, and vast space.
The morning is spent exploring ancient Bushman rock paintings and the surrounding desert
scenery. From here we continue toward the coast, arriving in Swakopmund and camping
near the Atlantic where desert meets ocean.
We arrive in Swakopmund and head straight out to explore, travelling to Sandwich Harbour
where towering dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean, before driving through the moon-like
landscapes of the Swakop River Valley. The day ends back in town, staying in a comfortable
lodge for the night.
Heading north, we follow sections of the Skeleton Coast, passing wild shorelines and stark
desert scenery. The night is spent camping in remote Damaraland, surrounded by dramatic
landscapes and complete isolation.
The route turns inland toward Etosha National Park. We camp just outside the western edge
of the park, setting up for an early start and a full day of game driving ahead.
A full day game drive takes us across the length of Etosha, moving slowly between
waterholes and open plains in search of wildlife. By evening, we exit on the eastern side of
the park and camp there for the night.
Leaving Etosha behind, we head south to the Okonjima region. The afternoon is spent
settling into camp and experiencing a different, conservation-focused side of Namibia’s
wildlife story
A relaxed morning before returning to Windhoek. The final night is spent in a comfortable
hotel or lodge, with time to freshen up and enjoy a farewell dinner together.
Guests depart on evening flights, or stay an additional night and fly the following day.
