Your Day-by-Day Journey

1
Day 1

Arrival | Cape Town

Guests arrive into Cape Town and settle in, with the first day kept deliberately relaxed to
allow time to adjust to new surroundings. In the evening, we head out onto the bay for a
night-one catamaran sundowner, enjoying drinks and canapés on the water as the sun sets
behind the city.

2
Day 2

Cape Town

A full day to explore Cape Town at your own pace. Guests can choose to wander the city,
relax by the coast, or take on an optional hike to the top of Table Mountain or Lion’s Head for
sweeping views across the peninsula. That evening, we bring everyone together for a hosted
group dinner.

3
Day 3

Franschhoek

The journey begins as we leave Cape Town and pass through the winelands of
Franschhoek, easing into the rhythm of the road. After lunch, the route south marks the start
of the drive toward the Garden Route, finishing the day with our first night camping.

4
Day 4

Wilderness

Continuing along the coast, we arrive in the laid-back town of Wilderness. The afternoon is
unhurried, before throwing a proper party at a fun hilltop campsite overlooking the ocean —
music, fire, and a night to remember above the sea

5
Day 5

Plettenberg Bay

A slow, beach-focused day designed for rest and reset. Time is spent swimming, relaxing,
and soaking up the coast before heading to a scenic campsite for the night beside the
lagoon

6
Day 6

Bloukrans → Addo Elephant Park

The morning offers the option to jump the world’s highest bridge bungee, or simply take in
the views from above. From here we head inland to Addo Elephant Park for a self-drive
safari, ending the day at comfortable lodge accommodation.

7
Day 7

Addo Elephant Park

An early start for a full day exploring Addo, moving slowly through the park in search of
elephants and other wildlife. The day remains relaxed and unhurried, returning to the same
comfortable lodge for the evening.

8
Day 8

Addo → Karoo

Leaving the coast behind, the route opens into wide Karoo landscapes. The night is spent at
a beautiful, remote lodge, offering space, comfort, and a sense of isolation beneath
expansive skies

9
Day 9

Karoo → Kalahari Edge

The journey continues north toward the edge of the Kalahari Desert, where the landscape
begins to feel drier and more remote. We camp on the fringes of the desert, watching the
light fade over red sands.

10
Day 10

Kalahari → Orange River (Namibia)

Crossing into Namibia, we arrive at our riverside camp on the Orange River. The water
brings life to the desert surroundings, offering a relaxed afternoon and an atmospheric night
by the river

11
Day 11

Orange River Kayak Expedition

A guided kayak journey takes us down the Orange River, flowing through the heart of the
desert. Birdlife, dramatic canyon scenery, and complete immersion make this a highlight for
many guests. The night is spent sleeping under the stars on the riverbank, gathered around
a big fire and cooked for by local hosts.

12
Day 12

Fish River Canyon Region

After finishing the kayak, we travel north to a beautiful lodge near Fish River Canyon. The
afternoon is spent relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, with time to explore viewpoints
over one of the world’s largest canyons

13
Day 13

Namib Desert → Sossusvlei

Heading toward Sossusvlei, the landscape transforms into vast dunes — some of the tallest
and oldest in the world. We wild camp deep in the desert, often with hyenas and jackals
passing through, and finish the day with a sundowner on a dune beneath an enormous night
sky

14
Day 14

Sossusvlei → Windhoek

An early start allows time to climb another dune just after sunrise and explore Deadvlei,
where ancient petrified trees rise from a white clay pan. Guests can also opt for a sunrise
hot-air balloon flight over the desert, followed by a champagne breakfast. The journey
finishes in Windhoek with a final comfortable night and farewell dinner.

15
Day 15

Departure | Windhoek

Breakfast and airport transfers mark the end of the journey, with goodbyes and stories
shared before heading home.
